Career Development Loans
The Career Development Loan (CDL) is a deferred repayment bank loan to help you pay for vocational learning or education available to all postgraduates students from the UK who are aged over 18, irrespective of the programme they are studying or their employment status. .To be eligible you must intend to live or train in the UK and when you have finished your study you must intend to work in the UK or EU.
- Learners can borrow any amount between £300 and £10,000 to help support the cost of learning
- The interest rate for repayment of the loan is set at a reduced customer rate of 9.9% per annum, equivalent to a typical APR of 5–6% over the lifetime of the loan*
- Learners with savings of up to £16,000 are eligible to apply for the loans
