Additional Sources of Funding

Part-time work/Working while a student

Part-time employment whilst registered as a student is growing in popularity, as is the option of spending a year of paid employment in industry as part of a degree programme. More information on sandwich years can be found in the undergraduate prospectus.

Part-time work is an excellent way to gain a small income while you study and a way to gain experience, develop personal skills and increase your employability. Just make sure it doesn't interfere with your studies! Loughborough Students' Union runs an employment exchange which can be used to find part-time vacancies in the local area.
