Distinguished individual to be honoured at Shanghai ceremony
The Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations will receive an honorary degree from Loughborough University on Sunday (September 3).
Lou Dapeng will be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Technology in recognition
of his outstanding achievements in athletics and international sports
administration.
The ceremony is being held at the Oriental Riverside Hotel in Shanghai,
China, and will be attended by Loughborough’s Vice Chancellor, Professor
Shirley Pearce.

Loughborough University of Technology was renamed Loughborough University
in 1996.
